Mr. Ledy joined USRA in 1991. Prior to joining USRA, Mr. Ledy was a partner in the real estate department of the New York based law firm Shea & Gould. Prior to his experience at Shea & Gould, Mr. Ledy served as a senior real estate litigator at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Mr. Ledy is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York in 1975 and the Courts of the State of New York in 1975. Mr. Ledy is President of The Franklin Tower Condominium.

Mr. Ledy is a graduate of the New York Law School (JD, cum laude, 1974) and Lehigh University (BA, with honors, 1970). He is a member of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (1975) and the Courts of the State of New York (1975).

Sam Mishra joined USRA in 2021 and is responsible for acquisition analysis, financial modeling, investment presentations, market research, supporting asset management, and strategic initiatives to grow assets under management.

Prior to joining USRA, Mr. Mishra worked at various global real estate investment managers on acquisitions, investor coverage, and asset management of core, core-plus, and value-add real estate investment opportunities across various property types and geographies.

Mr. Mishra is a graduate of Cornell University (MBA), Queens College (BBA, Finance and Investments), and completed various certifications including Moody’s Credit, REFM – Excel Modeling, and is Argus Enterprise Certified.

Joseph Scheiner joined USRA in 2015 and is responsible for oversight of all aspects of USRA’s day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and treasury functions.

Prior to joining USRA, Mr. Scheiner worked at Berdon, LLP, supervising assurance and tax compliance engagements for an array of non-public real estate investors including real estate developers, private equity funds, and multi-tenant commercial real estate owners.  Prior to Berdon, Mr. Scheiner was a senior associate at PWC, responsible for audits of publicly-traded REITS along with an audit of a real estate loan origination fund that required Mr. Scheiner to perform fair value testing of an array of asset-backed securities such as GNMA, FNMA, CMBS, and I/O securities.

Mr. Scheiner is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.  Mr. Scheiner is a graduate of NYU (M.S. in Real Estate Finance and Investing) and Touro College (B.S. in Accounting).

Mr. Silvers joined USRA in 1994 and is responsible for acquisitions and corporate advisory assignments. Mr. Silvers’ career has focused on applying leading-edge creative thinking in financial, legal and accounting areas to help companies use their real estate to achieve their corporate objectives. Among the ground-breaking net lease transactions that he structured were the first foreign currency-based sale-leaseback of U.S. real estate, the first UDAG-linked sale-leaseback and the first build-to-suit leveraged lease.

Prior to joining USRA, Mr. Silvers was a Managing Director of Bankers Trust Company with responsibility for structured real estate transactions, particularly those involving corporate and international real estate. From 1979 to 1987, Mr. Silvers was employed by Integrated Resources, Inc., where he was responsible for the structuring and acquisition of over $2 billion of corporate net leased real estate.

Mr. Silvers began his career with the New York law firm Proskauer Rose LLP, practicing tax and corporate law.

Mr. Silvers has been an officer and board member of a number of not-for-profit organizations. He has participated as lecturer and guest speaker for a number of organizations, including the New York Securities Analysts, Institutional Investors Consulting and the Practicing Law Institute, and he has authored numerous trade journal and law review articles on real estate issues.

Mr. Silvers is a graduate of Harvard Law School (JD, cum laude, 1974) and the University of Pennsylvania (BA, magna cum laude, 1971).

Elizabeth St. Lifer joined USRA in 2003 and serves as legal counsel, responsible for the legal aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management.

Prior to joining USRA, Ms. St. Lifer was an associate in the Real Estate and Transactional Department at the law firm of Gursky & Partners, LLP. Her responsibilities included negotiating shopping center leases, as well as representing clients in connection with general corporate matters and real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and asset-based financing. Prior to Gursky & Partners, Ms. St. Lifer practiced at Muchnick, Golieb & Golieb, P.C., Pryor, Cashman, Sherman & Flynn, and Southmark Corporation.

Ms. St. Lifer is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law (JD) and Duke University (BA), and is a member of the American Bar Association.

Jennifer Weinberg joined USRA in 2016 and is responsible for the asset management of USRA’s portfolio properties. Ms. Weinberg serves in the legal department specializing in lender compliance, lease and loan diligence, and covenant compliance.

Ms. Weinberg joined USRA from Jakobson Properties, LLC where she was responsible for the management and oversight of commercial and residential real estate operations in New York City.

Ms. Weinberg is a Graduate of New York Law School (JD) and DePaul University (BA), and member of the American Bar Association.
